I believe they are from the 1988 reproduction set 51000. No original boxes or instructions. Lights in the cars and the engine. Conventional Transformer Controlled Forward-Neutral-Reverse. Runs on O-72 curves. The loco runs fairly well in F-N-R. There is a lock-off switch/lever on top. It sounded on cue. All the car lights work fine, too. The set looks EX with some minor scratches on the underside of the cars. There are some rubs on top of the vestibules where they turn and rub the car. I would say the tender and 3 cars are original paint; however, I was going to question the engine. There are multiple locations where it looks like light pitting has been painted over (see PIC close-ups of the roofs); but, it is NOT A REPAINT. Another issue is the engine and tender drawbar is missing and the tender sounds like it has a loose screw rattling around inside.
