All cars feature brass trim, formed steel construction, opening doors/sliding baggage doors, frosted clerestory windows, low ventilator-style roofs, pinhole style steps, combination couplers (latch and hook), nickel seats and accents, nickel-plated trucks, wooden air tanks on each car, extra long observation deck on #185 car, and illuminated interiors.
