LGB 20277 Orient Express Passenger Set. The engine (2070 D) is new! The gray livery is unique to this limited edition train set (1,500 world wide). The 3 passenger cars are used, in very good condition (see pictures), and are numbered 3097, 3098, and 3099 (as are the individual boxes). Besides being very rare, the cars have a beautiful shade of blue and crisp graphics. These remarkable trains are durable, reliable, and fun to watch and play with. High quality West German manufacture (not China). The doors open and latch closed using the door handles on both ends of the passenger cars (one of the twelve doors is not opening). The roofs are removable to expose the seats inside the car. The engine has both forward and reverse lights as well as a cab light. The engine has a socket on the back to power lighting to the cars if they are equipped with LGB interior lights (2 per car). The engine has a 24 page maintenance brochure in multiple languages. The whistle for the cab is included in a separate bag in the engine box. This train is packaged in a special box from REA (see picture). Each car is packaged inside in its traditional red window box.
