Set of Lionel Canadian Pacific passenger cars in MINT (C10) condition with their original boxes. Comprises of the 2551 Banff Park observation, 2552 Skyline 500 Vista Dome, 2553 Blair Manor passenger, and 2554 Craig Manor passenger cars. The Blair and Craig cars are the rarest. NONE of the cars have ever been run! There are a few very faint spots on top of two of the cars as shown, plus there are a couple of waves in the Blair Manor stripe. The boxes for the Vista and Banff are nice but not perfect, and the boxes for the other two cars are pretty rough. All in all, a hard to find set in rare Mint condition, and great for the collector. New in Box 4 car 70′ Streamlined Passenger Set Union Pacific MTH item #20-64023. Never run, seldom opened, pristine condition. See my other auctions of items. As a hobbyist I can not do that. If you run Union Pacific, in the streamlined passenger era, then this set is a must have. MTH got it right with this set. Sorry for the blurry photo of the box end, I use a camera that sometimes is not the best. With this set you get a great Observation car. Folks, this is unfortunately the reality. MTH is no longer in business and is the only competitor to Lionel that can produce beautiful sets like this. Hobbyists with these sets have run them, and know the current state of the hobby and will not sell them or move them. Do you want to wait for that? Erie Limited Southern Pacific Daylight Set GS-4 with12x Passenger Car BRASS READ

Here we have a. Erie Limited Southern Pacific Daylight Set GS-4 w/12x Passenger Car BRASS. Engine has been tested and runs good with working headlight. Engine foam was replaced. Original foam damaged some of the paint on the engine roof (see photo 5). Paint on engine roof has a “orange peel” texture from foam damage. The rear of engine cab also has some foam damage (photo 3). Cars are all very clean with interior detail (not lighted). Cars have some roof antenna issues. Missing the antenna and posts. Antenna disconnected from 2x posts. Chair car 2459 has antenna disconnected from 2x posts. Chair car 2457 has antenna disconnected from 2x posts. Passenger cars trucks seem to have some glue maybe for re. (which appear to be Walthers 933-977) have been taken off (not included due to poor condition) and left a glue residue that been be. Removed on all the car ends. Kadee #5 couplers have been installed on all cars but one. Boxes have shelf wear. All foam but engine is original and clean.
