This set of trains are in great condition with no major damage or much wear on the box or trains. Please see pictures for condition, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out and ask.
Made historically famous by its premier lead train, “The City of New Orleans” and the Johnny Cash song of the same name, the Illimois Central ran the rails from Chicago down through the deep south, (Memphis, Jackson, MI) to the Big Easy. It was the only railroad to also cover several other routes in the Midwest-north-to-south region of the US. This attractive HO streamliner model features two Riverossi diesel engines with bypass couplers (one strongly powered engine with light, and a dummy). Included in the set are a baggage car, two passenger cars and an observation car. The entire set is in very good condition, rated C-6 — both cosmetically and operationally.
