LIONEL 6-21786 100th ANNIVERSARY SANTA FE F-3 ABBA & 7-CAR PASSENGER CAR SET WITH TMCC AND RAILSOUNDS NIB. This set has never been opened. However, I have included a few stock pictures of the set from the internet. At the time of its production, this Santa Fe Warbonnet colors passenger set was unlike any passenger set Lionel had ever produced, in terms of the number of cars and the new features of the set. One significant upgrade was migrating from the traditional silhouette figures in the windows to much more realistic actual interiors and figures in the passenger cars. The set contains 4 engines – a powered A unit with dual Pullmor motors, a powered B unit with dual Pullmor motors, a dummy A unit and a dummy B unit. The engines have TMCC and RailSounds. The set also contains 7 passenger cars – a Baggage car, a Combination car, 3 full Vista Dome cars, a Dining car with StationSounds and an Observation car. A full description of the features of this set is contained below. I would rate the engines and passenger cars as C-9 and their boxes as P-9 under the TCA Grading Standards. Please make sure to appropriately oil and grease the powered A and B units before running them, as they have been in their Lionel boxes for many years. Some light oiling of the dummy engines and passenger cars is also recommended. Please also note that the package w. Powered B-unit with dual Pullmor motors. Die-cast frames on B-units. 1930s Santa Fe Super Chief Blue Goose Edition set. A(-1) & B Passenger Car Sets 7 Cars. The Santa Fe Chief was the train that Operated between Chicago Illinois to Los Angles California. Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (commonly known as the Santa Fe now BNSF). The Santa Fe would be renowned for its vaunted streamlined passenger fleet but the train, inaugurated in the mid-1920s began a legend that lives on to this day. The train ushered in the Santa Fes Chicago Los Angeles passenger services it was the first to be discontinued by the railroad, making its last run in 1968, three years before the rest of its sister trains and the start-up of Amtrak. The railroads renowned livery colors have been made in several variations ranging from the more popular silver and red with yellow trim to the blue and yellow.
