


Wind-up 5 piece set includes all red 232 Commodore Vanderbilt loco, 551 tender red with black lettering and stripes, plus 6 4 wheel Bogota, Montclair and observation. Tender and cars all have black frames with metal wheels and sliding-tab couplers, copper-tone railing on observation. The loco has a brake and sparker, flint missing as usual otherwise complete, tinplate trim, wheels and polished side-rods. Tinplate wheels and trim have most of their shiny-silver luster. Original fragile box has retail price written in corner, clear number stamp on end. Box is 15 x 9.5, has some clear tape corner and side repairs. Includes 2 worn car-sleeves, no other dividers, no track. A beautiful set that is near 90 years old, made late 1930’s. This set # is not in the Greenberg set book. All Items, including N.
