HO Brass 5-Car Passenger Set by Van Hobbies made in Japan by Kumata. This is a CPR – KETTLE VALLEY Set Painted & Lettered for “Reading & Philadelphia RR”. NOTE: This passenger set can easily be re-lettered by applying new name plaques to the cars with gold lettering CANADIAN PACIFIC. NOTE: This passenger set is “self powered” with a Powered 6-Wheel Truck on Pullman Car 724. This motorized truck assists the locomotive hauling these brass cars. These are Passenger Cars with clerestory roofs built in the early 1900’s. They remained in service on many railroads into the 1950’s and beyond. The car design is from the Canadian Pacific passenger cars, but similar cars were built for numerous railroads both in Canada and the United States. Set Contains: Baggage Car, RPO Car, Coach (Open Seating), Pullman Sleeper Car, and Observation & Lounge Car. Pro-Painted and Lettered – (Very Hard to Find This Caliber of Painting Anywhere Today). “Central Valley” Trucks and Wheels – Prototypical with Real Springs. Quality Window Glazing Installed. “Kadee” Knuckle Couplers Installed. Comes in Original Box with Foam in Good /Excellent Condition. Cars are packed in plastic sleeves and separated from Foam.
