Ho Illinois Central Passenger Set

Made historically famous by its premier lead train, “The City of New Orleans” and the Johnny Cash song of the same name, the Illimois Central ran the rails from Chicago down through the deep south, (Memphis, Jackson, MI) to the Big Easy. It was the only railroad to also cover several other routes in the Midwest-north-to-south region of the US. This attractive HO streamliner model features two Riverossi diesel engines with bypass couplers (one strongly powered engine with light, and a dummy). Included in the set are a baggage car, two passenger cars and an observation car. The entire set is in very good condition, rated C-6 — both cosmetically and operationally.

Lionel New York Central NYC 2 Passenger car set #29004 29040 Dinning 29005 combo. Is a Lionel car heavyweight passenger set. New York Central NYC. Looks like new but has been gentle run. I try to be conservative on condition so you won’t be disappointed. All Items, unless noted, are vintage and or old. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of motors, transformers, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. I try to describe obvious missing parts, defects or restorations in the description, but may miss something. Results are from simple bench-testing to help determine if item is intact. I recycle boxes and packing material. Not to be cheap, although it is a cost savings, but to save resources. It is such a waste to throw away a good box and use a new one.
