Here we have a. Lionel 6-8702 Southern Crescent Limited Engine & Passenger Cars Set O-Gauge NIB. New in the boxes! Cars all factory sealed: 6. 9530, 9531, 9532, 9533, 9534. Only engine and tender have been removed, lightly serviced, tested – works perfect. Engine paint may have some minor chips from age (see photos). Set is almost 45 years old! Factory paint application on wheels (white tire walls) may not have been stamped perfectly. This can result in what looks like warped wheels while in motion; however, the wheels are not actually warped. Boxes show major wear and damage from age. Engine and tender and all car wheel axles can use some proper oil lubrication before first run. Engine gears should be greased too. Please look at the pictures to see exactly what you will receive. Shows little to no wear on the wheels. Runs great (Like New) in both directions. It has a minor, hard to see repair to a cab handrail post, one post is missing (see photo). Lionel 6-8702 Southern Crescent Steam Engine 4-6-2 Locomotive O Gauge with #9530 thru #9534 5-Passenger Cars which was produced in 1977 & made in the U. ALSO includes is the Add-On Car from 1987 #19001 Dining. Transformer controlled forward, neutral and reverse operation. Electronic Sound of Steam. 4-wheel trucks on the tender. Gauge: Traditional O Gauge. Measures 13 in length (each). Used Condition, set appears to have been operated a lot. Track tested, runs fine, & sound of steam works. The board inside the tender was secured with new double-back sticky foam since original has deteriorated. The locomotive appearance has some areas of dirty stains that will clean up with patience. The lower half of the die-cast body has numerous paint chips which is normal on most these locomotives. Cars all tested for lights and work. Bodies has some areas of dust/dirt that can clean up. Original boxes has moderate wear with some edge tears. Please wait for an invoice reflecting this. NOTE: Some items cant be combined and will be documented in the item description.
