I have for sale a Lionel Classics passenger and observation car set. The outer box has it as the New York #13406 Observation car being inside, but instead in this box is the Illinois Car #13407 passenger car. I do not know if the original owner accidently mixed them up, or what possibly happened, but this set comes with the Illinois and NOT the New York Observation car. The cars are in like new condition, and don’t really look to have ever been taken out of the boxes. The boxes for the cars have a minor tear here and there but overall they are in good condition. The outside brown box has some light soiling but it is in ok condition. I did not take the cars out since they were still wrapped. Please, view the over (50) photos provided below. Each car is extruded aluminum and features die-cast trucks attached to a metal frame. Each car has dual operating magnetic knuckle couplers (except for the observation car that has a coupler only on the front). All of the cars (with the lone exception of the baggage car) are each illuminated, with passenger silhouettes in the windows. This is one of the nicer older sets that Lionel has put out.
