This is a fantastic, huge & realistic wooden railway Polar Express themed set featuring the very popular Brio Polar Express themed collection from several years ago! This incredible gently used set includes many of the most popular items from this collection as well as additional coordinating items from Lionel, Imaginarium, Thomas and more in addition to the main Brio starter set pieces and a number of other items from Brio Polar Express add on sets, making this a huge and awesome interactive Polar Express themed set for your little one to act out all of his favorite scenes from this magical holiday story and to provide an incredible and detailed play set that includes so many fun and realistic details from this magical story! This fantastic train mat measures approximately 31.5 x 72 inches when set up as shown and can be set up on any smooth surface including a table, the floor, a train table and it folds into 3 parts as well as folding flat where you can stand it up against a wall when not in use and put all of the train parts into a bin for quick and easy storage when not in use. Not only does this wonderful and detailed train mat create a great surface to set up the train track and play on, the perfect background makes imagining and acting out the scenes from this wonderful story all that much more realistic. This wonderful set inludes a figure 8 worth of wooden train track, a bridge/ tunnel piece, a bell , homes from the town, a tree and snowman that also hold up the building and the original hand powered Polar Express engine and tender and the starter set passenger car from the original Brio Polar Express starter set. It also includes a number of other Polar Express and other Christmas train cars or other cars that go well with the 2 included Brio Polar Express style engine and tender styles as well as an assortment of other fantastic details that make this set even cooler and more realistic including the animals from the story- these were made for a different train set but we added them to our set because they made it look so much more realistic. All of these pieces are in good gently used condition and were lovingly played with and cared for and are ready for the next little one to enjoy this incredible set! We are including a Polar Express gift train car (featuring a bell in it) that is missing the lid from the car. I can’t seem to figure out what happened to it, but the train car still looks cool like this and it still shows the bell inside, so thought it was till a great addition to the set. As you can see in the photos, since we are including both styles of Brio Polar Express engine and tender sets, this allows you to set this large set up with 2 different trains to allow several children to play together on this large and fantastic set- doesn’t get more realistic than this with a very cool huge wooden Polar Express themed set with lots of add ons! Train cars or details may vary slightly from what is shown in the photos as I took these pictures over 2 different days when I set up the train & we’re using my nephew’s set to try to put together a 2nd set to make available as well- which might vary in tiny ways from the one shown- such as slightly different people or slightly different vehicles but most items will be the same and it will have the same number of items and same basic pieces- where there might be some variation is exactly which people, animals, wooden tree styles and extra train cars are added but the 2nd set will be extremely similar and will have as many pieces as the 1st. Please note:this set includes one large train mat that the set is set up on top of as well as shown & described train parts & accessories, but does NOT include the 2nd train mat that I used as a vertical backdrop in photos or other vertical background pieces used in the photos. I just used a 2nd of the train mat as a background piece bc it was both effective & a good way to show details& scenes illustrated on the train mat -particularly in the lower corners that I was not able to capture in all of the photos due to angle-the mat that is included with the set is the same style but only one large train mat is included (the one the train is set up on) but not the one shown vertically in the background or any other flat background pieces.
