Very Nice Postwar American Flyer Set Of Four Boxed Green Stripe Passenger Cars

Set of four original postwar American Flyer S-gauge satin silver with green stripe streamline passenger cars. Consists of three 962 vista domes and a 963 observation. Correct for set 5364W from 1954. All cars are complete with no damage. All skirts are there. All couplers work and cars roll and track great. Lights work in all three domes – observation does not light, could be bulb or wire. Cars are very clean, roofs are nice and very little wear to silver paint. Green stripes are all near perfect. Name plates are all very nice. Vista dome boxes are very nice, all flaps are there – one box has a detached tuck flap but it is there. End stamps are readable on all, one is light but there. No box for the observation car – no idea what I did with it. The cars are used but were well taken care of. The Silver Range car has a melted spot on one of the plastic end caps. The lights were work in all of the cars but it may only be side. They may need new bulbs or possibly wires. I did see one loose wire and one that is missing. There is a bit of rust on the bottom of a couple cars but not too bad. The cars are all in otherwise nice looking shape. There are no boxes for the cars. I’m no expert on trains so if you have a question just ask. Look at the photos to judge the condition for yourself as I’m no expert. I’m not an expert on every item I sell so if I forgot to mention something just ask and I’ll try to answer your question.
